I think it's close between Thomas and Teixeira. They're the top two. For this year, I'd say Thomas with Teixeira a very close second. If it's a keeper league, I'd go with Teixeira. Although Teixeira is very close to topping Big Hurt for one year leagues IMO.

Thomas is playing better, but I like Tex more for the rest of the year.

It's not even close IMHO. Thomas is head and shoulders above Tex this year. Tex is going to be great but not better than Big Hurt this year.

Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

agree with most fo the posts... the whitesox offense has been smoking all of the year.. hitting 4th only the Big Hurt's numbers better

BIG Hurt

Teix

Hafner
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
