Buy Rockies Tickets
Preston Wilson went 1-for-1, drew a walk and scored a run Saturday night in his rehab assignment at Double-A Tulsa.
Wilson was also hit by a pitch and stole second base. Wilson will play every day but Monday this week for Tulsa and he could rejoin the Rockies as soon as next weekend for the final two games against Baltimore. "He will be re-evaluated after Friday's game (in Tulsa)," manager Clint Hurdle said. "We hope to have him back here soon." Get ready to activate the NL RBI leader from last season soon. Wow, I can't believe he's stealing bases during his first game back in the Minors. This HAS to be a good sign...if you don't have Wilson already, trade for him. He's about to come back with a bang.

Interesting tip...anyone know his contract status?

He makes about 12 million per, which is why the Rockies want to move him if at all possible. I dont think it will take much to get him from Colorado, as long as the team taking him is willing to take on most of the contract.
