Ain't that the truth :-D ... but as a consolation it would be vs. AZ and LA -- both lightweight hitting clubs.

you did see what the dodgers did to the redsox yesterday, didn't you?
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

haha, i saw that too, good luck madison.

i don't even think stottlemyre or torre know what to do with their rotation right now. regardless, i wouldn't start contreras, he hasn't exactly been good this year. as for myers, he is said to pitch on wednesday the 16th, and my intuition is that starters on monday and tuesday get two starts for the week, so i only think he'll go once.

myers also isn't on this list from the sporting news:

AL: Bronson Arroyo, Miguel Batista, Jeremy Bonderman, Daniel Cabrera*, Jose Contreras, Jason Davis, Eric DuBose*, Freddy Garcia, Jon Garland, Mark Hendrickson, Dennys Reyes, Kenny Rogers, Johan Santana, Jarrod Washburn, Jake Westbrook, Barry Zito.

NL: Jose Acevedo, Jung Bong, A.J. Burnett, Roger Clemens, Zach Day, Joe Kennedy, Brian Lawrence, Jose Lima, Wade Miller, Eric Milton, Matt Morris, Russ Ortiz, Oliver Perez, Brian Powell, Mark Prior, Victor Santos, Jason Schmidt, Steve Trachsel, Brandon Webb, Carlos Zambrano.

*: Two-start status in question
