Victor Martinez will likely not return to action until later this week.
Martinez swung the bat, played catch and ran in the Tribe's swimming pool on Saturday and commented that his injured ankle "feels much better, I can feel it a little when I try to push off it." According to trainers, Martinez will not play until he can run, so a mid to late week return to the lineup appears to be about right. Martinez injured his foot rounding first base Thursday against Florida. Trainer Lonnie Soloff said Martinez won't play until he can run. Jun. 13 - 9:28 am et
