maybe last years .250 average wasn't a slump, and to expect a .300BA from him is crazy now?
any chance he can hit for 300+ again...like he did with the A's?

Except Thome can sporadically hit for average while still fanning more than Grandma in Georgia heat.

I think a Dunn reference is kind of ridiculous. Dunn is a .230 hitter that k's nearly 200 times a year and hasn't hit over 30 hrs yet. Giambi is still capable of .280, 40 homers, 120 RBIs IMO. Maybe not this year but he still has that in him. Thome or Delgado would be a more reasonable comparison. Adam Dunn?

I think the move to the Bronx has caused him to try and pull everything to the right field seats, consequently lowering his average.
