I am watching him pitch now, and it has been rough. Apparently his ankle is still bothering him, forcing him to alter his delivery slightly, as he can't stretch his delivery leg too far.

He was showing signs of decline last year. The guy has thrown a lot of IP for several years and considering that he's not exactly a physical specimen, I suspect his best days are behind him. No, I didn't think he'd totally collapse as he has, but thought he was overvalued prior to the season.
Actually, the trade hasn't gone through yet. I'm actually hoping it gets vetoed for my sake.
The ironic thing about this....Maddux got beat by the Halos last night...and Colon looks to take the loss tonight....(if the Cubbies can hold on...)

Pressing? If he was pressing, wouldn't he have done that at the beginning of the year, when he was brand new to his new team? He was good at the beginning of the season, so I am inclined to believe the guy is hurt....
