Best Fantasy Pitching Staff

Postby smelson » Sat Jun 12, 2004 11:36 pm

Let's hear some of em. I feel like I have a pretty good one.

10 team 5x5 standard league

Prior
Pedro
Halladay
Zito
Santana
Sheets
Harden
KRod
Valverde
C. Cordero
Escobar

Now, granted, some of these guys are struggling, but this staff at least looks golden on paper ;-)

Good to see my "Best Fantasy Outfield" thread caught on! ;-D

On this note... :~(

Anyhow, in my other league, 12 team rotiss, even though I am in first place, it wasn't the best pitching day for me today...

Colon : 6ER in 5 innings
Oswalt : 6ER in 4.2 innings
Redman : 7ER in 5 innings

12 team Roto

Schimdt
Beckett
Oswalt
Peavy
Z. Day
Glavine

Nathan
Benitez
K-Rod
Lidge

Day and Peavy are the only ones I didn't draft, probably one of the most productive pitching draft I've had in years. K-Rod getting the save chances have been a big boost lately to catch up with the some of the 4-closer teams.
