Hey does anyone have any news on Mantei? He's been sitting in my DL spot all season. Should I just dump him already? Think he will ever get the closer role again in AZ? Thanks a lot.

The D-Backs are considering trying to stretch Mantei out and see if he can become a starter. Appears as though his closing days are done, at least with this team.

I think the best shot Mantei is going to have at closing the rest of this year...is going to be on another team....but not sure if the Backs are going to move him.... :-/

He's been sitting on my DL for a long time too. We have 3 DL spots and I picked him up just to sit there. If one of my guys gets injured, he's long gone though.
