Come on Bowa. Dammit. What a joke. He's never going to get out of his current slump if he gets two-three days off every week. Ricky freaking Ledee is getting another start. With the DH, too. Utley at first, Tomas Perez at 2nd, Thome at DH? WTF is this?

Oh and this was a heads up that turned into a rant. :-b

Bowa likes to give all of his bench players a significant chance to contribute. It makes us mad as fantasy owners, but in a real-life setting, can't say it's too dumb. But yeah, I disagree with benching Burrell when he's in a slight slump...he is a head-case already, so this certainly isn't helping.

Oh, I certainly agree, but I think he's gotta let him get out of the slump, like you said. Sometimes, this may backfire, too, when his starters can't get into a groove. It's great to get everybody on the team involved, though.

I quickly benched Burrell so that he doesn't use him to PH later or whatever. Learned my lesson about benching players who aren't starting after Hairston pinch hit two nights ago. Don't want them eating my game limits.

Yeah I was able to put Alex Sanchez in at the last minute....but he's in a slump too, so I'm not expecting much.

I haven't researched this a bunch yet. But it seems to me that Burrell always gets Saturday off. Why Saturday? I don't know. I may be wrong but I benched him today with that in mind. :-)

I went and checked and I was wrong ...

He was just given last Saturday off, but started the four before that.
So maybe its a new trend. :-o
