Who else is disappointed with ARod's RBIs?

Postby Quaker » Sat Jun 12, 2004 5:02 pm

When I drafted him, I thought for sure he'd knock in 130 in that lineup. He's on pace for 96 instead. A slow start and nothing setting the table in front of him has contributed to this, but now that Jeter has picked it up hopefuly Arod will pick up the pace.

What are everyone's projections for his final RBI number?

I dont know about any projections but the slow starts by Bernie and Jeter def hurt his rbi numbers. Those guys are making a turnaround so hopefully A-Rod will keep hitting and those guys will be in scoring position more.

lol

Tank did much better than I thought. I benched him, but I was impressed, even though he lossed. His trade value took a nice bump today ;-D

wrveres i guess you are from San Diego? What do they say about Tank there?? He is a high school buddy of mine so everyone here in St. Charles loves him of course, but I would like to know what people are saying about him outside of St. louis, especially in San Diego.

he is very highly thought of by the organization ... This is his third attempt at the rotation. He failed misserably the other two times, So this may be his last real chance. He is still young and lots of upside but, my current understanding is that he is bieng shopped around. Ideally for a veteran arm. The Padres want to make a run at the Series this year.
