red sox rule!!! wrote:i sense that a 3 way trade might occur with the sox, chi soxs and kc. anybody else seeing this happening..
maybe beltran ending up in chicago, maggy with the red sox, kc ending up with damon or nixon plus prospects.
i know the sox had interest in maggy when the arod trade was going down.
If that trade went down(which theres no doubt in my mind it won't happen), it would have to be Nixon to get traded because if Damon got traded that would leave a big hole in CF. But I still wouldn't mind having Maggs in our line-up
If you think the Cubs line-up would be good with Beltran in it..look at the Yanks and Sox
Any deal with BOS will have to include Youkilis, maybe he and Nixon in teh three-way deal with the CHI Sox...but I am positive 3B would have to be included.....SD is a possibility with Burroughs and Nady....I personally would rather make a deal with OAK for Harden and Joe Blantona nd let Dejesus play everyday...I would like to see KC build around SP with a big ballpark...could you imagine Greinke, Harden, Blanton...WOW
NYY wont see him this year, and I really think BOS may not either, I see SD, OAK, and maybe one other team as the top three as of now

at least I hope so
I doubt it, Paulie.
1. Mets are falling out of contention quickly.
2. KC wants David Wright (Allard is smoking crack)
3. We have a CF and neither Cameron or Beltran want to move to RF
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey

Come on. With Carlos AND Cameron? We only need two outfielders: Left-Center and Right-Center. We could shift our infield to play six of them: Phillips/Piazza, Wigginton, Matsui, Reyes, Zeile, and Wright.
This would make more sense to me than Jeter batting lead off. It would utilize Beltran's speed more.
