Best Batting Music

Postby CrazyPooja90 » Fri Jun 11, 2004 6:07 pm

Ya'll know the short music clip that plays in a stadium when a hometeam player steps uo to bat? Which music is the most appropriote?

Personally, i dig the Limp Bizkit song "Rollin" when Scott Rolen comes up, beautiful!
"I'm going to meet the greatest umpire of all, and he knows I'm innocent."

The Phillies' players music is lame.

If I went up to bat, it'd be "Big Time" by Peter Gabriel, fo' sho'.

"Big Time! So Much Larger Than Life!"

Not a hitter, but I like "Hell's Bells" when Hoffman enters a game. :-)

Anyone who comes to bat with The Undertaker's original theme music would get my vote. I'm currently unaware of anyone who uses it though.

i think they play sandman for gagne, but I am not sure....

for some reason I'd like steve finley's theme to be fogerty's "center field..." I think that would be damn appropriate.

i am not a huge fan of the salsa/latin music that a lot of the players have playing...
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

i hope they played Slayer's* "Here Comes the Pain" whenever Manny comes to bat :-b .... another Slayer song called "Jesus Saves" is Johnny Damon's unofficial-official song in the underground (but that might be a lil outdated now since Johnny lost his "jesusness" :-D )

* a legendary thrash thrash metal band, claimed by many to be the best ever ;-D
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
