i dont know why these guys are getting dropped, but you need a ss more than an outfielder, so I go for Jeter, and he should be back soemtime later next month.

Grab Burrell over Jeter. Jeter's gonna have trouble with his swing all season now. He'll be lucky to hit .300.
Jody, Jody Davis. Hits 'em high and far. Jody, Jody Davis. He's a superstar. Holy Cow!!!! http://www.stinkytee.com

Grab Jeter, then join a league with more the 3 teams. It's ridiculous that those kind of guys are on the waiver wire. Nothing personal, I'm just bitter that I can't pick guys like that up I guess. :-)

I agree. Theres no fun in getting to pick up All-Stars off the waivers.

Jeter and Burrell on the wire? Good grief, what's the point of playing out the season in this league? It's like playing chess with 3rd graders. Still time to join a more competitive one somewhere.

<img src=/forums/images/smiles/kiss.gif> The guys have all said it, but having been in leagues like that before, that sh*t just pisses you right off, doesn't it? Regardless if you're the guy sitting on top of the waiver list or not, it screws the whole league. Maybe commissioners should deny waiver moves, too, sometimes!

uh, it's yahoo public league, a lot of public leagues I join (all the sports) somebody always drop good ppl, not complete unloading of their team, but just dropping great players who isn't doing good in the beginning. So I always try to conserv the waiver priority for these times.

:-o It's a joke right .. I mean why would someone waste their time playing in a league like that .. If that happened in one of my league's then I would probably just toos all my players to waivers and quit. someone please tell me it was a joke. :-o
