Not sure which one to get. Used to dig Slugfest, not sure this year. Thoughts?

Sorry if this is too off topic, my apologies.

On a similar note, anyone catch that BS report they had on ESPN a little while ago about how sports games are too violent. That really angered me. They said kids were too stupid to distinguish the difference between the arcadey slapstick fun of games like Slugfest and NFL Street from real Professional Sports. I really got angry. Give kids a little more f'n credit.

Slugfest is pretty good. It's not a very realistic baseball game but it's still fun. I got it used for 15 bucks and it's been great for killing time. ;-D

MVP is the best and most realistic game on the market. Slugfest doesn't appeal to me that much because it isn't realistic. To me it's the type of game you rent for the weekend and play all night with your buddies. Then it gets real old.

Well, I've got ESPN MLB Baseball.

The graphics are sorta so-so, but the game in general is pretty fun (IMO).

I was just wondering....is there any baseball franchise type of game? I don't mean a video game with a franchise mode, I mean a game where you take over a sports franchise and act as an owner/GM. Some possible features might be having to manage your money/budget, keep up attendence, build new stadiums, etc...

If this game exists then it would be awesome. Unfortunately I've never seen something like this. :,-(
