Didn't see a post, but looks like DaVanon won't be totally inactive when Anderson returns.
He's heading for the 15-DL with a slightly torn quad. (Sportsline)

Bad news for any of you who like or own Mondesi:
According to this MLB.com
article, he is out for the year.
However, I would expect that he will be back in 2 to 3 weeks, this time signing with the Red Sox.

yep, just saw it on Rotoworld

I dropped Mond and picked up DaVanon....he was on my bench anyway, so it wasn't that big of a loss.

Ouch!
Torn quad = 6 mo. healing time
I'd rather (partial or hairline) fracture my femur. Quicker healing time

Is Koch definitely out as closer? I'm thinking of dropping Koch for DaVanon.

You're probably not gonna get a whole lot outta DaVanon unless one of the 3 OF's get hurt (Guillen/Anderson/Vlad). Salmon won't only face lefties (whom DaVanon never faces).
Angels also play @ all NL parks next week -- no DH -- and most likely no DaVanon (and definitely no Salmon).

Good. I was getting sick of looking at his hair.
