LOL same here. I was real big on him, especially looking at his WHIP prior to last night and seeing good things ahead but I just booted him for miguel batista (yikes )

I also had Prior Acevedo and Burnett. Guess what though. I also had Billy Wagner going today.

yeah that hurts.
on the bright side, you didn't have to include oliver perez' delayed shelling due to the rainout that is going to come later today against texas!
Prior, Acevedo and Garcia for me. Not as bad. Also, miraculously still hold a slight temporary edge in WHIP and ERA, due to Riedling and Brown on opponent's H2H team, 9ER's in 3.1 innings.
Jose pitcher... Mesa anyone..? I was a proud owner of 2003 Mesa!

Same here! I intentionally benched him last night after watching the A's just tear the cover off of the ball in the first two games of the series. I knew Acevedo would get lit. I think this has more to do with the A's being on fire, and less to do with an Acevedo let-down. Of course I'm gonna spot start him, but I still think he's a decent (ratio) pitcher on a fairly strong team. Obviously he'll get shelled here and there, but hey...even Pedro got touched last week.
