I just watched him get lit up by the A's...killed my WHIP and ERA. Anyway, what are your thoughts on him? Is he going to keep on getting killed or will he turn it around? Is he supposed to be a decent pitcher?...I hadn't heard much at all about him until this year.

I was a big supporter of him here at the cafe...that is until tonight...i dumped him. I don't like to overreact...but man he single handedly raised my ERA from 4.07 to 4.17 in just 3 innings. (roto league) Between him and Contreras, and Jimenez, I've learned to never add another Jose to my pitching squad. They all suck.

Can anyone seriously think of a good Jose pitcher? I mean I know Jose Guillen on the offensive side...but every Jose pitcher is absolutely terrible. Acevedo I used to like, but adios Jose.
It's not so much the A's offense as the real Cincy pitching showing it's true colors. Mark this as the beginning of the end for the Reds this year. They'll battle Pittsburgh for the cellar come September.
