Madson prediction

I thought this was pretty funny: This is what http://www.fanball.com wrote:

Madson has thrown very well out of the bullpen this season and could be a nice short-term fantasy pitcher until Wolf returns.

Hmmm....I don't think so! :-D

No, I don't think he's "gotta" be better than his last start, some relievers just cannot succeed as starters, *see Eric Gagne.

I think that he could really turn it around next start, unless he gets put back in the pen.

Gagne was a starter first.

I realize that, my point was that he is a reliever who couldn't succeed as a starter.

To clarify, I should of said "some pitchers can flourish as relievers but fail at starting", or something to that extent.

Either way, the gist of what I'm trying to say is that just because a pitcher is good out of the pen doesn't mean that he has to be good as a starter.

Mariano Rivera also came up as a starter and was sent back to the minors. Well, we all know what happened from there.
