please stop posting idiotic posts about trading stars like mags or picking up waiver wire veterans like redman just because they did or did not have a good game or series. It's only the first week people sit tight and let your guys play !!!!

Dogg is right .. barring injury or trade .. you really shouldn't touch your team .. projections .. anything for at least 2-3 week's.
After that .. then you can drop Maddux to pickup Cone.
Agreed, there are some marginal players that deserved to be considered along with some to that might need to be dropped. If anything, this forum should act as a reference for some of these tough decisions.

Of course what KDogg is saying is great advice, but I'd hesitate on dismissing mediocre veteran pitchers who have started out hot. A lot of pitchers mature into stars, pitching is a much about intelligence and wisdom as it is about skill and arm strength. As for Redman, don't expect him to be a strikeout pitcher, but there's a chance he could have a decent season, enough to warrant a 5 spot on someone's roster. It's important to discuss and listen to all advice, even if you don't always agree.
And concerning Magglio O., I wish someone would have handed out similar advice to get rid of Roberto Alomar this early in the season last year, would have saved lots of people. You never know what's going to happen KDogg. Alomar was a sure lock as a 2B fantasy player last year, and look what happened. You never know. I'm not saying drop Ordonez just yet, but if people have inside info about him that might convince people to trade him for say a Shawn Green, I'd say at least consider it.
