Just when I drop these 2 for Lidge and Looper, they start looking strong. Herges is the CL, so it'll be painful if you have him but has Rhodes turned it around??
Someone posted comparisons btw HErges' and PErcival's numbers and they're not all that differently.

Rhodes will be up & down all season, Just like he's been, herges looks like the stronger bet to get more saves, hell prob be the closer all season.

I think rhodes will get his share of vultured W's as well considering that the A's have shown they won't hesitate to use him in late inning non-save opps.
the upside to a bad closer is that they blow saves and then are rewarded with the win when their team scores on the tail end of their IP!

no way....Julio is a fireballer who is absolutely entrenched as the O's closer. I would take him over rhodes without question.
