Is it buy-low time on Barry Zito?

I hold back somewhat in asking this question because he'll probably get the W tonight but his ratios won't be too great.

He's known for heating up down the stretch and if the Zito owner in your league is disappointed in him so far, you just might be able to nab him is what I'm thinking.

Ya I would like to point out that Barry Zito stats May & June

May:
1-0
3.18 ERA
1.26 WHIP
28K's/34IP

June:
0-0
1.13 ERA
0.88 WHIP
5K's/8IP

After 2nite his ratios for june wiill shoot back up a little. But really zito has been pitching great since the beggining of May. Not counting 2nite in his last 2 starts he gave up only 1ER in 16IP while striking out 12. In those 2 starts Barry was given a combined 1 run of support

Zito K/9 is over 7 and nearing 8 per 9IP.

Zito has been pitchin great since may but no one notices b/c of his lack of support thus giving him so many ND's.

He hasn;t lost a game since April 29

It has been time to buy low on Zito since after his first few starts. His value has gone up recently, but I still think he can be had for much less than he is worth.

i agree, its been buy low time for a long time, I would go after him right now, might be last shot at gettinh him dirt cheap

in begingin of year, thats a steal, id still rather have Glavine then Zito, but Glaivine well looks like Glavine again. i thought he was washed up

haha i just traded zito, but the deal was soo good I had too. I think it was a case of both of us knowing about his 2nd half surge and I made him pay for it.

I get: B. Giles Figgins and K. Brown
He got: Kearns Dunn and Zito
