if you need steals get a hairston and if you need power at 2nd get hariston lol

I've owned him since he was called up...........he seemed to be a huge prospect at a very shallow position, and I don't know why my initial thread of him being added didn't get more attention. The only reason he isn't at the top of ML ranks is because people felt he wouldn't play 2B all the time. Well, he has 15 games at 2B now which means 2B eligibility until at least the end of 2005.
Yes, he's better than his brother. But you have to consider that when Alomar comes back, he's probably out of a job. Unless Gonzo blows out his arm, or Bautsita re-dislocates his shouler, in which case he could play OF.

Would it be reasonable to drop angel berroa for him and then move juan uribe to second? I'm not sure i want hairston if he's going to out of a job soon...

Well Berroa isn't getting on much, and when he does, he isn't stealing. His power isn't there either. It might be time to cut bait, unless it's a deep keeper. Hairston might be a short-term fix, but that might be what you have to resort to until you find a permanent replacement for Berroa. I'd do it.
