2 for 5 with a double, RBI, and run scored. If you need help at 2B, I don't know how you don't pounce on this guy. I don't know if he'll keep it up. But he was always a first-rate talent and he's killing the ball right now.

This kills me because people jump all over themselves to pounce on a rookie like Kazuo Matsui or even Joe Crede a couple years back. And, here, we have a 2baseman who hit 35 HRs in 02 in the minor leagues, and people are evidently asleep at the wheel when he is mashing the ball. Call me crazy, but it seems to me this is the kind of player you jump on and hope he keeps it up. I inserted him and Rollins in my lineup tonight. Talk about instant offense.

Scott's got a hell of lot more power than his bro. Jerry will run more than Scott, but that's really the only category Jerry's going to handily beat Scott in.
The '04 Baseball Prospectus compared Scott to Marcus Giles. You gotta love that kind of offense from a second baseman.
I'm becoming a fan and believer of the younger Hairston

would you rather go with him or Aaron Miles until Giles gets back?
