he was talkign about jimenez. aside from last night, he has been ok. cutting is rash IMO. he isn't good, but whatever.

I'm only dropping him for cordero b/c I also have dotel, nathan, valverde and rhodes and would prefer virtually anyone over jimenez as my #5 RP.

I wouldn't advise those in need of saves dropping him b/c he IS still a closer.

damn. I would have rather cordero stayed in mid-relief. I'm killing in saves and I picked him up to help with ERA and WHIP. Whenever guys move to the closer role there ERA and WHIP take a hit. (of course there are a few exceptions.)

Me too. Jimenez probably will keep the job for awhile, but no way he holds it all year. I could see Cordero holding onto it for awhile.

And I have Rivera, F. Cordero and Afeldt, so I didn't want a fifth one.
