Closers of the week...team killers?

Jimenez and his blown save brings me to a bigger question: Is it worth it to go for the flavor of the week to bring you "spot saves." In my 14 person h2h league I now have Dotel, Urbina, Affeldt, Jimenez, and Vargas who I just picked up today to try and get me saves. I usually win saves from week to week, but sometimes one of my lesser closers gets tagged for a few runs and it kills me in ERA and WHIP. My question is, is it worth it to start these guys and hope they don't implode? I know some of my competitors are really hard up for saves, which is why I pick these guys up as soon as it is known that they are made closer. Now I'm starting to question that strategy and I'm thinking about going back to just Dotel, Urbina and probably Affeldt as he has been pretty good - knock on wood. Any comments, suggestions?

in a h2h league i don't think it's worth it with borderline closers. one bad night can ruin your era/whip.

I'm giving Jimenez one more chance...another ER in his next outting will result in him being dumped.

Affeldt imploded tonight. He still got the save, but 2ER and 4H. Walked a run in as well.

All owners not named Gagne have their off nights. In general, Affeldt has been at least adequate. I don't know what to do about my closer situation now, it seems pretty bleak considering Jimenez & Affeldt got rocked tonight and Vargas is not the closer after all. Looks like I can't drop him and have to grin and bear it.
