Ok I have been quiet about this guy for a few weeks, waiting for someone to post about him, but its time to spill the beans and share with the rest of you.
How Robertson is only owned in 27% of ESPN leagues BOGGLES my mind.
Nate has a 9K's/9IP ratio. He is on pace for a 200 K Season.
Now you may say will his ERA & WHIP are high.
ERA: 4.37
WHIP: 1.32
Ok Throw out his back to back starts against the Angels back when they were loaded and healthy where he gave up 9ER in game 1 and 6ER in game 2. You will find that with the exception of those two Angel starts, Nate has been very consistent giving up no more then 3ER in ALL of his starts (except angels)
Yes he plays for the Tigers, so the run support/bullpen support isnt there, but his ratio's & K's make him a great fantasy option IMO. The Tigers are decent enough for him to win 15 games i think.
I don't see how he is still abailable in leagues, not to mention he is only 25 and this is essentially his rookie year, as he spent most of last 2 years in AAA.

I had Nate on my team earlier in the season, and then I dropped him after his two outings against the Angels. I just picked him up about a week ago, and he's provided a pretty pleasant surprise. Hopefully he'll be able to keep it up!

era well under 3 and whip a little over 1 (except the angels' starts) ... good point gses. (goes off to see if nate is available in any leagues where I need pitching).
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

I took Grienke over Robertson. We'll see what happens...neither team has very good run support.

What are you guys smoking? The Tigers are amongst the league leaders in runs scored. This guy has a team that is scoring TONS of runs. He's a great pickup in any league, IMO.
