He's hitting like a blind little leaguer against RHP. Maybe that's why he's on the bench vs Clement?

Renteria has played pretty many games in a row I think. Since his few days off for his back anyways. I am sure it is just a day off. I would not worry about it. Maybe he will get his head straight. Did I say maybe I mean hopefully!

Maybe LaRusa checked Renteria's stats against Clement and saw
that Renteria was 1 for 24 against Clement. Could that explain it?

Renteria was out with a stomach flu though coach said he was scheduled to sit anyway. Players do get days off you know.
