exactly... one couldn't be more hypocritical than supporting Bush and criticizing Kerry for voicing his opinion and protesting Vietnam.
Manny Ramirez....$20 million
Pedro Martinez....$17.5 million
Curt Schilling...$12 million (and a $2 million bonus)
Never hearing a Yankee fan chant 1918 again...priceless.
Can you imagine the nerve of that veteran, protesting a war that he had first-hand experience in? Why couldn't he have gone AWOL and snorted coke like any good, God-fearing American?
...then it sounds like Kerry should be proud of this book he authored. Then why did he pull all copies of the book off the shelves prior to running for president?
...check amazon.com and your local bookstores, you won't find it. They are only found on ebay, priced in the hundreds of dollars.
It is also logical to assume a presidential candidate would like the people to get to know him better, especially through past literature that he authored - unless he has something to hide.
What is your response to this?
Plus, I never said I was going to vote for Bush (or Nader).
look. he doesn't want this to get out because poeple will see the upside down flag and think: "he can't be in government, he is anti-american." 95% of the american population is too stupid to ask "why did he do that?" they'll just look at the picture out of context
I'd like to see bush's mugshot from his D&D arrest and have that plastered all over the media... isn't that public domain too?
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.

My response? I don't care. He protested the war, along with almost everyone else in the country.
I should add: I see no problem with putting the flag upside down, or burning it. I don't like it, but it is an extremely effective form of protest. To say he doesn't love his country because he protested the Vietnam War is absurd to the Nth degree. He fought, and nearly died for his country, and has since served in the Senate for some 20 years.
Waste of my time.
