Colon is traded to the Expos. What impact will this have?

The deal is Colon for L. Stevens, and some prospects J. Phelps (is suppose to be a great SS), Tim Drew (a pitcher), and C. Crawford OF who has 20+ sb speed (like a Brad Wilkerson).

My question is what does this do to Galaraga's value? He is now the starting 1st baseman no?

If its true its these players -

Expos acquired RHP Bartolo Colon and a player to be named from the Indians for SS Brandon Phillips, OF Grady Sizemore, LHP Cliff Lee and 1B Lee Stevens

Crawford is a 20 year old TB prospect who some expect up at any time but likely waits till September.

Interesting as Colon is hurt.

I would expect Andres to become the starting 1b now. True, Les Expos might not be done dealing yet (what do they have to lose if they deal their entire minor league system for veterans?), but for now, consider him the man at first.

The real prize for Cleveland, apart from contract issues, is Phillips, who could turn into a true impact player. If you're in an AL only league with relatively deep minor league rosters, grab him if you can.

Also, Colon and Stevens' values should both increase slightly now.

Interesting trade - especially because this might be just the first of several Montreal makes...
