Keep in mind before this season Lowe has been one of the best closers in baseball and then a cy young candidate starter so we have gotten a lot out of him

One of the trades that comes to mind to me was when the Pirates got Brian Giles from Cleveland for Ricardo Rincon. I am sure there are others, but this was a big one from my view.

The Red Sox traded Steve "Psycho" Lyons for Tom Seaver. Lyons started playing for the Boston Red Sox, was traded to the Chicago White Sox, then signed again by the Boston Red Sox, was released and played for a couple teams before returning to the Boston Red Sox, signed with the Chicago Cubs, then was signed again by the Boston Red Sox.

Thats a lot of "Chicago" and "Sox" teams
