johnson? as in randy johnson? i personally would never draft a pitcher with the first 10 picks. but that's just me.

I wouldnt take any pitcher before at least #9

Johnson is a little lower, maybe next at 11

There is no such thing as a justifiable pitching #1 pick. Gagne was about as close as I have ever seen to being first round worthy and look how highly regarded he is in midseason drafts now.
