I see that Ishii has pitched 3 innings with no ER and only 2 hits. He is on our waiver wire. Should I pick him up? I have Wade Miller who I can drop - he has an era of 13.50 and only had 2k in 3.3 innings. Clearly, Ishii has pitched better so far. What does everyone else think?

No way. Miller is solid and came on strong after the break last year. One start does not a season make.

If you have a season ending injury during your first start...then your first start a season does make.

I was the original poster for this subject, which you can now ignore. I saw that Ishii just gave up 5 runs in the 4th, so I will now go drop him and pick up Redman (someone said he did well today).

That's one itchy trigger finger, Guesst. Good luck.

Hootie , you convinced me. I'm cleaning out the basement , putting the crusty lawn chair next to the pool putting a 9 volt in the portable
9 inch black & white and 8 D cells in the boom box.Filling a kiddie pool full beer and waiting for that sweet smack of a Wagner fastball ending the game.

Might as well drop Randy Johnson for Runlevys Hernandez with that kind of logic.
