I think there as been a huge load of good players either on dl now or were on the dl are, here are some of them and if you have any more just add them

Been a ton. Espn did a piece called the DL All Star team. Think about it. At every position, some major player havs been hurt for at least a few days.

yeah I believe they also said something about there being more players on the DL now than at any time in the past.

I actually made a post about this way earlier in the season before a lot of these injuries occured titled "The era of the pansy." Most people actually went to tell me I was wrong, and a few liked to bash me if I remember correctly saying that I didn't have any statistical proof. Sounds like ESPN has backed me up on my claim.

let's categorise some of these injurues

Sexson --- hurt swinging! wtf? ligament/cartalige. weird cause
Prior -- ligament, weird cause
Nomar -- ligament , weird cause
Beckett -- blisters, nothing majior, common pitcher problem
Lieter -- rotator cuff, standard pitcher injury
Peavy -- elbow tendon, standard pitching injury
Chavez -- broken hand, HBP
Maggs -- screwed up knee, collision in the outfield
Sosa -- sprained? back. sneezing. weird cause
Glaus -- shoulder injury? throwing/diving
Ibanez -- strained hamstring, commin injury
Anderson -- back arthritis. weird injury, but seems baseball independent?
Giles -- broken upper body, awful collision
P Wilson -- bad knee, chronic.
Halladay -- shoulder disconfort, common pitcher problem
Wagner -- strained goin, happens to pitchers
Wood -- forearm. common pitcher problem
Pettite -- forearm/elbow. common pitcher problem
Padilla -- tendinitis.. common pitcher injury
Delgado-- always had bad knees
Stewert -- foot issue... that turf will do ya in
Giambi -- bad knee. chronic?

I think my point is that most of these injuries are bad luck, they are things that happen to players a lot and just happened to happen to some of the better known ones this year. oh well. suck it up and play.
