Phillies: Wagner to be activated; Wolf headed to the DL
The News
The Phillies will activate closer Billy Wagner prior to Tuesday's game against the White Sox and place starter Randy Wolf on the 15-day disabled list, the Philadelphia Inquirer reported. Wolf is battling tendonitis in his left elbow.
Our View
Fantasy owners should get Wagner back into their lineups. With Vicente Padilla also on the disabled list, the Phillies will use Ryan Madson on Monday and still need to name a starter for Saturday. Madson has thrown very well out of the bullpen this season and could be a nice short-term fantasy pitcher until Wolf returns.

Red Sox: Nomar set to return
The News
The Red Sox expect to activate shortstop Nomar Garciaparra before Tuesday's game against the Padres. Nomar has yet to play for the big club this season due to tendonitis in his right Achilles' tendon, but he homered in the last at-bat of his five-game rehab stint with Pawtucket.
Our View
Unless you really hit the mother lode on a fill-in during Nomar's absence, you'll want to get Garciaparra into your lineup this week. Andy Dominique is the most likely candidate to be sent down, as the Red Sox may want to keep Cesar Crespo around in case they want to bring Nomar along gradually.
