What does PDT mean?

Postby jpbusta » Sun Jun 06, 2004 11:58 pm

I'm currently not in United States and my friends want me to join a mid-season draft and i wanted to set up a time but it says "All times are in PDT" I was wondering what PDT meant. Thanks for your input.

Which is West Coast time if that helps at all. The only good thing that will happen when that side of the country falls into the ocean is that the rest of us won't have to stay up past 1AM anymore to catch the end of a baseball game.

I moved from LA to the east coast for college and one of the reasons I am going to move back to the west coast after college is the sport starting times. I mean, yeah, if you have nothing to do and are up late, it is kind of fun to watch a baseball or college basketball game at 1-2 AM. But, NFL "early" games start at 1 PM? On the west coast, sports start at 10 and end at 10. How perfect is that? I've heard people on the east coast complain that 10 AM is too early to wake up on Sunday. What??? So, watch football in bed! I think it's great and I miss it. Well, since I am back in LA for summer vacation, I absolutely love it and soaking it up while I can.

Oh man, it's good times. You get up at like 8 to watch the pre-game shows. I mean, I like getting up early, so for me, it's great and then I hit the bars by 9-9:30!

I have thought about how good it would be to drink a lot of beer watching MNF and still get to bed at 9 P.M. :-°

I've heard of moving for a girl, school or a career... but never for sporting times.

Hell, why not?
