Teixeira eligibility?

I saw he played OF today so I checked back on last years stats and he played 25 games between RF and LF, so with his game today will he pick up OF eligibilty for the rest of the year? I don't think changes his value much, but the flexibilty is always helpful. Does anyone know why yahoo doesnt show him as an OF too?

He didn't play one OF position for 15 games last year, so no eligibilty. He has to play 15 games in one OF position this year to gain eligibility in Yahoo.

When it comes to outfielders Yahoo's system is screwed unless you use LF, CF, RF positions. You can have a player with 30 or more games in the OF who doesn't gain eligibility because he didn't get 15 at one particular position.

thanks for the quick response....yea I was just looking at it and it was 14 LF and 11 RF so that makes sense.

Had it been the magic number of 15 in LF, then he would have eligibility this year.
