Do you guys think he has turned it all the way around? Is he back to last year's form? He has 7K through 6 innings with 1 hit and no walks. He has also pitched well the past few weeks. I benched him today cause he was facing Texas, but I think it may be time to start starting him regardless of the matchup. Any opinions?
It's nice to see him have a solid outing especially against Texas but it is just one outing. I wouldn't bench Moose but we'll have to see another start or two before we know if he's back.
Maine has a good swing for a pitcher but on anything that moves, he has no chance. And if it's a fastball, it has to be up in the zone. Basically, the pitcher has to hit his bat. - Mike Pelfrey
Moose already turned it around awhile ago. In May he was 4-0 with a 3.44 ERA, 1.18 WHIP, 18 K and 4 BB. His overall numbers still look pretty crappy because of his poor start but he's been pitching well for awhile. Only thing still down has been the Ks but those are coming today.

Yeah I think today is the day we can officially say he is BACK!! Too bad I am gonna miss out on the extra two h2h wins for the complete game shutout he will probably finish with. His win also would have tied that cat for the week!
He was like Dr. Jeckyl and Mr. Hyde in May. Every other start was great than he'd get shelled for like 5 runs.
