It'll be Hawkins. I think Dusty & Cub management don't want to flat out say he's their guy to not put too much pressure on him. He's been their best reliever by far this year & wouldn't expect that to change.
I'd hold on to him. If you try to deal him, I'm sure people will bring up a failure a few years ago in Minnesota.
If everything were based on the PAST, Joe should have a sub 3.00 ERA shouldn't he?? (or Jose Mesa should be toiling in middle relief)
If Farns/Remlinger struggle, I think a trade for a closer (sending Latroy back to set up) or another setup guy could be made.
