look. this certainly was a sad event. it was expected, but sad. I don't see, however, how it deserved hours of continuous coverage like what fox did. I *hate* sensationalist journalism. they had a couple of news crews and a chopper around the reagan library (as did some other stations) and the newspeople were talking just to hear the sound of their own voices. The proper thing to do would have been to take a few minutes when it originally happened, then have a few seconds at each commercial segment and finally run a well prepared special/documentary (one or two hour or something like that) later in the day. let the man be dignified in death as well as he was in life
