What are the best trades you made this year??

got Soriano Rolen Anderson Kaz

Soriano is doing okay, Rolen is a beast, Anderon's out, and Kaz is starting to heat up

After that I had two 3B and NO 1B, so I traded Chavez for Delgado

I never liked Delgado so I proceeded to trade Delgado for Clemens and Sexson.

After Sexson hit his 7th HR, I got an offer of Helton for Sexson, I accepted.

So in the end:

I gave: Arod Thome Delgado Chavez Sexson
I got: Helton Soriano Anderson Rolen Kaz Clemens



You can make an argument for both sides, but I'd happy with what I got considering Chavez and Sexson's injuries.

You can make an argument for both sides, but I'd happy with what I got considering Chavez and Sexson's injuries.

It must be nice to be in a league that likes to wheel and deal. I have been offered nothing but crap from fellow owners, but it is a new league. I have tried to buy low on Mussina, and Zito but no takers. I did however swing the following deal:

Gave: Finley and Beckett
Got: Helton and Teixeira

This trade went through the day before Beckett was injured.
I had picked Finley off the FA list after he had hit about 5 homers.

Well only because of unforseen circumstances.... I traded Mags/Beckett got Prior/Dye. RIGHT after I made the deal Mags got hurt the day after the deal went through, and now obviously is out for a while, and Beckett DL'd with his blister problems again!
