For years I've owned Edgar, my team name is Edgar's Army, but for the first time I sat him down, it's very sad. His K's are up and his walks are down. It could mean that his bat is slowing and he has to cheat a little. I hope to bring him back soon though.

A hard trigger to pull on Edgar -- kind of an Ol' Yeller thing. I did so last month and he is still sitting in the FA pool in the fairly competitive 12-team I'm in.

I really did not like having to drop Edgar a couple of weeks ago. He had always been a very nice late round grab for me, but unfortunately, he just wasn't getting the job done this year. He did serve me well, and I wish him the best of luck. ;-D
