Yeah it's an interesting idea, but does't that significantly hurt your win total? Ive been lucky, I have Alfonseca.

It could hurt your win total if you are in a shallow league, or have a low max IP.

I'm the only one riding these guys in my league, the other mgrs haven't figured it out yet! :-°

I've been working with Gregg, Duchscherer, Shields, Marte, Lopez (when he was a reliever), and Marte. B J Ryan is another guy who's pitched well. His WHIP has gone up recently but he also has a ton of Ks for his IP.

I generally start 5 RP/MR guys everyday in my holds league.
Quantrill, Marte, Otsuka have done me well.
Quantrill and Otsuka have 4 wins apiece, to boot.

Lidge is very helpful for getting ks while not using a lot of your innings :-D

Lidge is the only one I use but middle relievers can be extremely helpful to your ERA WHIP
