ok, the song is really called "Summer of '69", and i was not alive back in '79, but still. Royals are 2-0 for the first time since 1979.

Affeldt looked good in his 5 2/3 IP. Pena is pulling to young starters early to keep there pitch count down. Grimsley finished out the 6th. And then, another big waste of money came in and almost lost the game for us, that being Albie Lopez. MacDougall got another ovation when he ented the game in the ninth. He walked the first batter, got the nexy guy to foul out on a bunt and got thomas to ground into a 6-4-3 DP to end the game.

Berroa looked good again a short, making a bare-handed grab on a short hop to get an out at first.
