Resting Service or Valverde Back in the CL Role?

With Valverde's S performance tonight and his great outing against the Giants that left Bonds on deck, can we safely call Scott Service an ex-ML Closer? Or was this an issue of resting Service

Sure looks as though the strong effort Tuesday restored Brenly's faith in Valverde. Since he was pitching for the second straight night, the conclusion seems pretty obvious. Let's face it, he's the only option for now, as Service is no longer a big league caliber pitcher.

maybe brenly jus woke up and realised that Valverde is the best reliever they have. when i think of service closing it makes me laugh.

looks like valverde got the job back.... why would he implode again? he was great at the end of last year, i think he went 7-7..or something like that.... if he doesnt blow one for a few games i think its his job back permanently
