He picked up two steals tonight, bringing him up to 5 on the year.
I always knew he had some speed, but he is on pace for double-digit steals, something I certainly hadn't projected for him. Needless to say, I'm pleasantly surprised.
I'm hoping to get a better read on Wells' base-running potential in Toronto. Is he running because Delgado is out? Is he running because the BJs offense hasn't exactly carried over from last year? Is Tosca finally giving him the green-light?
How many steals do you think he'll end up with?
Can anybody who follows the Jays (or sees Wells play) shed some light on this?
TIA

Vernon always had thief in his blood but the Blue Jays philosphy involves little to no stealing at all. Maybe they're (coaches) are startin to change their minds. David Justice talks about how much he hates the no steal theory all the time. Oakland is the same.
It's like I've died and gone to heaven......but then they realized that it wasn't my time, so they sent me to a brewery.

i figured out how to mute his voice frequency on my TV.
Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day, teach a man to fish and he'll drown because you forgot to teach him to swim.
