I am not complaining because I own him, but he is the one that gave up the run that made it a 3 run game...
Did I miss something?

Fantasy sports are ruled by the 50-50-90 rule...
Anytime you have a 50/50 choice between two players, 90% of the time, you'll get it wrong

When he came in the game the tying run was on deck. That qualifies him for a save.

he was brought in during the 8th with two men on and down by four. that means the tying run was on deck making it a save situation for him.

Doesn't matter if there were any runners on........he came in and got 4 outs while up by 4 runs to finish the game.

i didn't think gettin 4 outs while being down by four creates a save situation. i could be wrong though.
three conditions for a save.
1.He comes into the game with a lead of no more than three runs, and pitches the remainder of the game, gaining at least one out.
2.He comes into the game with the potential tying run being either on base, at bat, or on deck.
3.He pitches at least three "effective" innings (this is the only subjective criterion and is judged by the official scorer).

Didn't this happen if he came in in the 8th??
It did, because there were two men on base already so therefore the tying run was on deck. He only came in to get the last out.
