It is possible to develop a power stroke with some modifications to approach. if your fundamentals are strong. Tony Gwynn once noted that he could have hit 30 a year (when that actually meant something) by makin some changes. But his average would have dipped about .030 points.

Agreed, but I don't think Burroughs would do that. He's more of a team player and I don't think he cares about his HR totals enough at all to change. Getting on base, scoring, and helping his team win is what he cares about.
