And I have also seen that he is close to signing with the Angels

The Dayton Daily News reported yesterday that Aaron Boone is close to signing with the Angels. Boone has been taking batting practice in Arizona and believes he will be able to go on a rehab assignment soon. Notwithstanding those reports, it is highly unlikely that Boone will be ready to play any time before the All-Star break, and even after that is a major question mark.
