Nope, didn't forget about Rolen. Check out the stats, Lowell has been better over the past 2 years in about 30 less games.
I should clarify, I'm talking about offense AND defense. Lowells a good defensive 3B but Rolen is probably the best of all time. Fantasy perspective your right, I was thinking real life value.

I've looked into this as well....Lowell is just about as good defensively as Rolen is. I'd say they're close to even based on range factors and fielding percentage. A lot of players are labelled great defensively because they make routine plays look spectacular. Rolen is one of those guys.

Just to throw my two cents in, but did you get just call Scott Rolen the best defensive 3b of all time?
I know I'm going out on a limb here, but does the name Brooks Robinson ring a bell?
