That reminds me of "Pearl Harbor" that was a "Titanic" set at Pearl Harbor..............it sucked
What about films that weren't baseball movies but had some great scenes involving baseball? Here's two good examples:
Naked Gun - At the end when Lt. Dreben poses as the umpire to figure out which player is going to assassinate the queen. Turns out its Reggie Jackson, and when he tackles Reggie a bench-clearing brawl ensues. Classic!
Gung Ho - When the auto workers take on the Japanese execs in a game of softball. The best line in the scene comes from George Wendt's character: "They look like the Yankees, I hate them already", referring to the Japanese team and their matching pinstripe uniforms.

I agree it wasn't really a "baseball" movie, but I did enjoy it. I'm actually a big Costner fan, so I like almost all his movies, except for the Postman, or whatever that train-wreck of a movie was called
You liked Waterworld?? I think you're the only 1 who did.
OK, maybe not ALL his movies, but I still liked his performances in each of his films.

I liked the part where he pushes O.J. Simpson down the steps in a wheelchair....
